Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS)

The 0-10 pain scale is straight forward, efficient and reliable way to monitor a patient’s pain levels over a course of treatments or care.

It can be used to track any type of pain and is not limited to musculoskeletal issues. It is easy to use and familiar to many patients.

PROMIS® Global Health Scale v1.2

This simple 10 question global health scale is designed to track overall physical and mental health, including wellbeing, energy levels and pain.

It is useful when a patient is presenting with multiple health complaints which are affecting their general wellbeing and quality of life. Or, when you are focussing on improving overall patient health and wellbeing.

Generalised Anxiety Disorder Assessment (GAD-7)

This questionnaire specifically monitors a patient’s anxiety levels and forms part of our Mental Health Plan along with the PHQ-9.

The GAD-7 can be used specifically for patients with an anxiety disorder or other mental health issues. It can also be used when there is a clear element of anxiety accompanying another health complaint, such as digestive issues or chronic pain.

Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9)

This questionnaire specifically monitors a patient’s level of depression and forms part of our Mental Health Plan along with the GAD-7.

The PHQ-9 can be used specifically for patients with a depressive disorder or other mental health issues. It can also be used whenever there is a clear element of depression accompanying another health complaint, such as chronic pain.

Patient Global Impression Change (PGIC)

This simple 1 question measure is a retrospective rating scale, and asks the patient how much better or worse their health complaint is, since they began their course of treatments or care.

It is a quick and straight forward way to gauge a patient’s own belief about their improvement so far. Our PGIC scale is health complaint specific, rather than general, so you can really focus on monitoring a specific problem.

Patient Multidimensions Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness (MAIA 2)

A measure specifically designed to track in-depth changes in a patients Interoceptive Awareness. This can include physical and psychological feelings of discomfort and/or connection to a persons body and self.

This is one of our longer measures and is best suited to measure in-depth changes in a patients awareness of their body related to chronic pain and health issues.
